NOSTAFF Regional

NoStaff Regional is a fully fictional hospital system built on the very real chaos of healthcare. Known as “The Nation’s Only Level VII Trauma Center,” it specializes in high-acuity patients (we think), minimal staffing, and questionable decision-making.

At Nostaff Regional, the equipment is state-of-the-art… there’s just no one available to use it. The ER wait time hovers somewhere between “give up” and “see you tomorrow,” ICU beds are a competitive sport, and every shift feels like a group project where half the team didn’t show up.

It’s a satirical take on modern healthcare—where burnout is a personality trait, staffing is optional, and somehow the place is still running (barely). Medical satire has long leaned into exaggerating the absurd realities of hospitals to highlight dysfunction and humor — NoStaff just turns that up to unsafe levels.

In short:
If you’ve ever worked in a hospital and thought, “there’s no way this is real,”
NoStaff Regional is that…just a lot worse.
